The Great Hall The Great Hall is a large hall with four long tables where students of each House sit at during mealtimes, as well as the staff table at the front, where the entire Hogwarts staff sits. There is a throne-like chair in the centre of the table where the current Headmaster or Headmistress sits. The ceiling of the Great Hall is covered with candles and it is enchanted to look like the sky above. |

Hallways Sneaking around at night? Wasting time between classes? This is where all the excitement happens! Every now and then you find a door that wasn't there before...is it...can it be...yes it is! The Room of Requirement |

The Library The Hogwarts Library is located off of a corridor on the first-floor of Hogwarts Castle and contains tens of thousands of books on thousands of shelves. Overseen by Madam Irma Pince, the library is where students can go to peruse or borrow books to supplement their studies (or for personal enjoyment). The library closes at 8:00 pm. |

Gryffindor Tower The entrance to the common room is located behind the portrait of the Fat Lady at the end of the Fat Lady's Corridor on the seventh-floor of Hogwarts Castle. A password is required to enter it. A circular hole is behind the painting leading to the common room. Two staircases lead to the female and male dormitories respectively. |

Slytherin Dungeon The entrance to the common room is located behind a stone wall in the dungeons of Hogwarts Castle. A password is required to enter it; whereupon a passage is revealed leading to the common room. The password to the common room changes every fortnight, and it is posted on the noticeboard. The girls' and boys' dormitories are just off the common room. |

Ravenclaw Tower The entrance to the common room is located on the west side of Hogwarts at the top of a spiral staircase, located on the fifth floor, and is a door without a doorknob or keyhole, but a bronze knocker in the shape of an eagle. In order to enter the room, a person must answer a riddle asked by the eagle knocker; if they answer incorrectly, they must wait for someone else who gets it right. The entrance to the Ravenclaw dormitories are also located in the Tower, beside a statue of Rowena Ravenclaw. |

Hufflepuff Basement The entrance to the common room is located "in a nook on the right hand side of the kitchen corridor", concealed behind a stack of barrels. In order to reveal the entrance, no password is required. Instead, one must tap the barrel two from the bottom, middle of the second row, in the rhythm of ‘Helga Hufflepuff’, which will make the lid swing open, exposing a passageway that will lead to the basement when crawled through. However, if the wrong lid is tapped or the wrong rhythm is used, the intruder will be doused in vinegar and barred access. The Hufflepuff dormitories are also located in the cellar and have perfectly circular doors, with lots of little underground tunnels leading off from the common room. |

The Quad The Quad (also known as the Paved Courtyard) is a courtyard located on the Hogwarts Castle exterior area. It is connected to the Viaduct and the Boathouse. Four towers are located at either corner of this courtyard: The Grand Staircase Tower, Gryffindor Tower, North Tower and Stone Bridge Tower; and the Hospital Tower and Suspension Bridge Towers are located in the middle of two different sides. Gobstones players usually come into this courtyard to play "Snake Pit" and it is home to a Talking Gargoyle. This courtyard is also home to the Slytherin Duelling Club. The Fourth, Fifth, Sixth and Seventh floor Corridors pass right next to this courtyard. A balcony is known to circulate this courtyard. |

High Street The man street of Hogsmeade. You can find all the other shops either along here or off of this street. Those would include including Dervish & Banges - sales magical equipment, Gladrags Wizardwear - Highly fashionable clothes, Post Office, Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop, and other places. |

Weasley's Wizard Wheezes This is an extension of the Diagon Alley Store. It is connected to the main store via the Floo Network so George or Fred may travel back and forth as they see fit. It sells all the products they have become famous for and while most the students love it Headmistress McGonagall doesn't want some of the products to be used at the school. She however has not forbid them either. |

Honeydukes Sweet Shop A sweetshop, owned by Ambrosius Flume and his wife, which is filled with "shelves upon shelves of the most succulent-looking sweets imaginable." In addition to the standard wizarding candy that is sold there, the owners also make their own fudge and chocolate. For obvious reasons, the shop is quite a popular destination for Hogwarts students when visiting Hogsmeade on the weekends. |

The Three Broomsticks The Three Broomsticks is a popular inn and pub in the all wizarding village of Hogsmeade and is often frequented by students from the neighbouring Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The inn is often warm, crowded, and a bit smoky, but clean and welcoming.

Madam Puddifoots A small, cramped tea shop with decor on the tacky side of frilly (such as floating golden cherubs throwing pink confetti), located just off High Street. The only Hogwarts students who seem to patronize the place are trysting couples. |

The Shrieking Shack Rumored to be the most haunted building in Britain, the Shrieking Shack is a favorite stop on any Hogsmeade visit. However, the wails that were once heard emanating from this creepy building have not been heard for some time, the Hogwarts ghosts are always eager to tell you about the 'bad crowd' that frequent the place and warn students to stay away. |

The Hog's Head Inn Located a block or so off High Street, the Hog's Head Inn has been a fixture of Hogsmeade for hundreds of years. A worn-out wooden sign hangs over the door, advertising with a "wild boar's severed head leaking blood onto the white cloth around it." It's known for its cheapness, at least relative to the Three Broomsticks down the street, and attracts a "shall we say... interesting clientele," at least according to Albus Dumbledore. The bartender, for at least twenty years, has been Albus's brother, Aberforth Dumbledore. |

The Leaky Cauldron The Leaky Cauldron is "dark and shabby" but welcoming. The main room on the ground floor has a bar and quite a few tables, and down the narrow hall from here is a private parlor, also with a fireplace.

Knockturn Alley - 1 Viewing Just around the corner from Diagon Alley lies a dark, twisting alleyway devoted to the Dark Arts: Knockturn Alley. It's a place that the Weasley children are not allowed in, and with good reason; not only are the wares sold their a bit dodgy, but the wizards hanging around behave fairly suspiciously as well. From the shops and the street vendors one can purchase, among other things, shrunken heads, poisonous candles, human-looking fingernails, and Flesh-Eating Slug Repellent. |

King's Cross Station King's Cross Station is considered one of the main train stations to serve London, England. Students of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry take the scarlet steam engine named the Hogwarts Express to Hogwarts from Platform 9¾ on 1 September at 11 AM sharp. To get to Platform 9 3/4, you run straight at the wall between 9 and 10. It also serves as a major intercity and commuter rail hub for Muggles going to North London or Yorkshire and the North East and Scotland. |

Mysterium - 1 Viewing This place looks a little run down. It does have a sign outside that is faded but legible. It reads 'Fortunes Told'. When you enter the inside is a strange mixture of the modern and ancient but it looks like you would expect a fortune teller's shop to look. It is heavily curtained and has all sorts of symbols on the different hangings. It has a feel of power and oddity. |
